Slide Rule operations

• put the slide upside down;
• push the inverted slide to put 1C under your number (for example 32) on A;
• with the hairline search the SAME NUMBER on K and B (here it is 8);
• read the fifth root on D (here it is 2).

Operation

• place the cursor over r on your R scale
• place on h on CI under the cursor
• above the index on C read the volume on DF

• place the cursor over d on your D scale
• place c mark on C scale under the cursor
• place the cursor over h on your B scale
• read volume from A under the cursor
